The challenge
As an EU-funded academic programme, MEMSE needed a site that could clearly communicate a complex, multi-country mobility structure — three core universities, four associate partners, semester-by-semester mobility across Ireland, Poland and Germany — while ranking for prospective student searches ahead of application deadlines.

What we did
- Built the site on WordPress with Elementor to give the programme office an editable, low-maintenance platform for updating admissions cycles and deadlines themselves.
- Structured the mobility journey and academic specialisations into clear, scannable sections so applicants can quickly understand the two-year programme structure.
- Implemented on-page SEO across programme, admissions and blog pages to improve visibility for Erasmus Mundus and materials science search terms.
- Set up structured metadata (Open Graph, Twitter Card) for clean link previews when the programme is shared by partner universities and EU channels.
